- A Brief Description of the Fool's Gold World or A Note From Nezumi
- This world possesses a strange mix of magic and technology. There are electric lights, but the people still ride horses. Much of the technology is supported by magic, but not all, and technology often aids in furthering magical studies.
I drew some influence from the Gensomaden Saiyuki-universe (a great anime/manga), where there is magic and a very fantasy-like environment and yet there are guns and cars (not very many, but they're there.)
The Utena-universe is sort of similar if you squint your eyes and cock your head at a painful angle. They duel with swords and go to school in a castle, yet they have stoves and magical cars. Then again, nothing can be compared to Revolutionary Girl Utena (or Shoujou Kakumei Utena for you die-hards out there).
